True Lies VR is revamp of my semester one project but now with an updated house, story, gameplay style and overall feel of the game. The idea came from our university professor who urged me to take VR into consideration when developing my end of year project. At first I was hesitant because VR is new territory to me and it requires a lot patience to understand, but me wanting to learn more decided to go ahead with it anyways. This was by far one of the hardest projects I have developed so far and it was also the most rewarding, seeing all of mine and my projects partners efforts come together into a small demo which plays and works as an actual game has made me proud. You can see a video of the game below as well the plot and I'll leave a link to play it.
The story is about a detective who is called to check out a disturbance in Rocky River, Cleveland, Texas. On arriving he discovers the front door to be unlocked and proceeds in with caution, after investigating the house to find out what happened, he uncovers the owner of the house and his sinister past. Further into the investigation he finds that there is a serial killer in the house with him. Trapped with no help, a deadly game of cat and mouse ensues.
