This project is my first solo work at Revere and without a doubt the funnest. Everything about this project was great, from the client (Future Generation), to the workflow and the control I had over the how it turned out. Granted the deadline was tight, 3 weeks from architecture to the final product but it was pulled off effortlessly. I went to go see the client myself in London and demoed the VR to them, it was love at first sight for FG as they bought into the idea of it straightaway. I got to work straight away by planning how best to tackle the VR side of things and the interior design, I had our modelling team create the structure and any custom furniture that I needed and started to stitch everything together. One tricky part was the surroundings as the client wanted a realistic skyline for the background, so I got on a train to Sheffield where the site is being built, got on a crane, went up into the air and captured a 360 of the skyline which in itself was a fun and exciting experience. When I got back I had four days left before the deadline so I spent my entire weekend making sure this project was perfect for the client.
